Blessed by a Strong Redeemer

12 So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom.

17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

Blessed are we when you are our Redeemer.  Blessed when we ask for wisdom in how we use your days you have provided.  Blessed when we sing all day in gratitude of your love.

God Will Be Found by You

Jeremiah 29:11-14English Standard Version (ESV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a]and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares theLordand I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

John 1:38-39English Standard Version (ESV)

38 Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking?” And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?” 39 He said to them, “Come and you will see.” So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour.[a]

Revelation 21:3-4English Standard Version (ESV)

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place[a]of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people,[b] and God himself will be with them as their God.[c] He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Word of Fire

Jeremiah 23:28-29English Standard Version (ESV)

28 Let the prophet who has a dream tell the dream, but let him who has my word speak my word faithfully. What has straw in common with wheat? declares the Lord. 29 Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

John 10:7-11English Standard Version (ESV)

So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

God's Word saves!

Speaking as Your Shepherd

Jeremiah 17:16English Standard Version (ESV)

16 I have not run away from being your shepherd,
nor have I desired the day of sickness.
You know what came out of my lips;
    it was before your face.

Jeremiah 1:9-10English Standard Version (ESV)

Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me,
“Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.
10 See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms,
to pluck up and to break down,
to destroy and to overthrow,
to build and to plant.”
