A Time for Prayer for My Son, John

Ecclesiastes 3:1English Standard Version (ESV)

A Time for Everything

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

My oldest son, Johnny, was being stalked by a customer for Domino's.  He delivered a pizza and couldn't find the house and had to call to get the address.  He was called 6 times in a week, 30 texts in that time. He talked with the man last night, then refused to talk with him again.  The man said he would kill himself.  John went to the youth leader at the church, Tim Edwards, to have the man talk about his death threat with someone who can counsel him.  Tim asked Mark Warter, our deacon, talked to the man.  He counseled John to call the police and file a report.  So we did.

Please pray that the stalking is broken off at the phone number.  We will block the number.  That the threatening "back off phone call from the police" will be sufficient.  Remove the fear from John; he came back from the missionary field open to talking to anyone who needs to talk.  That was the biggest maturing on his part from his teenage self.  John will need a nurturing, caring heart for God's plans for him. He is saving up for the Leadership Training in April and a full-time missionary team leadership position.  No weapon formed against John will prosper.  You are the overcomer of the world. Thank you, my friends and brothers and sisters in Christ!
